About UESTC / 学校简介
The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It was founded in 1956 as the Chengdu Institute of Radio Engineering, incorporating the telecommunications and electronic engineering programs of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiao Tong University, Nanjing Institute of Technology (now Southeast University) and South China Institute of Technology (now South China University of Technology), and adopted its present name in 1988. UESTC is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a key university of the national "211 Project" and "985 Project", and a Class A university under China's "Double First-Class" initiative. With electronic and information science and technology at its core, the University pursues the coordinated development of science, engineering, management, humanities and medicine.
The Qingshuihe Campus, the main campus of UESTC, is situated at No. 2006, Xiyuan Avenue, High-tech Zone (West District), Chengdu, covering an area of over 300 hectares. Surrounded by lakes and lush greenery, the campus integrates teaching, research, administrative and residential facilities, including modern teaching buildings, state-of-the-art laboratories, a university library, sports venues and conference facilities, providing an excellent environment for international academic exchanges.
电子科技大学（University of Electronic Science and Technology of China，简称 UESTC）坐落于四川省成都市，1956 年由交通大学（现上海交通大学、西安交通大学）、南京工学院（现东南大学）、华南工学院（现华南理工大学）的电讯工程有关专业合并创建而成，原名成都电讯工程学院，1988 年更名为电子科技大学。学校是教育部直属的全国重点大学，是国家"211 工程""985 工程"重点建设高校，也是国家建设"世界一流大学和一流学科"A 类高校，以电子信息科学技术为核心，以工为主，理工渗透，理、工、管、文、医协调发展。
清水河校区位于成都市高新区（西区）西源大道 2006 号，占地约 5000 余亩，湖光潋滟、林木葱郁，是学校的主校区，集教学、科研、行政和生活功能于一体，配备完善的教学楼、实验室、图书馆、体育场馆及会议设施，能够为国际学术会议提供优良的交流环境。.
